LONDON (An Image Without)

Following our extremely rural experience, we arrived in London prepared for serious culture shock... Quite surprisingly, the only thing that shocked us was the unprecedented heat. Despite the sweat, London was indeed jolly and indeed old, although we did manage to find some contemporary gems: A beautiful Sally Mann exhibit, several White Cubes, and LMNT... if you EVER happen to find yourself in London for ANY period of time, do not hesitate to eat at this establishment. On LMNT's business card, it proudly describes itself as "London's Most Eccentric Dining Experience," and believe me, it does not disappoint. I don't want to spoil the mystery, but if you go, be prepared for gigantic Sphynx heads and pornographic bathrooms.

Unfortunately, not a single photograph exists from our week in London. Batteries suck. :(

At the moment we are back in Sweden on the outskirts of Stockholm, sleeping on the floor of our cartoonish Couch Surfing host, and sharing a room with a cartoonish Couch Surfing "roommate." While the company may be a bit odd, the old house is most certainly beautiful (and probably haunted), nestled on the edge of some enchanted fauna and lakeside beach. Apparently one of the previous tenants was one of Sweden's premier children's writers, and authored a series of books about aunts and uncles named after colors.

In one week we will be home. We shall spend the next seven days in New York City, visiting east coast friends, before returning to California. This will, in all likelihood, be our last post. We hope that you enjoyed reading about our adventures.

So long, Northern Europe, and thanks for all the hunds!

Sincerely,

Your Friend,
